Who Is ZESTECH?
Shenzhen Zest Technology Co., Ltd. (ZESTECH) is a national high-tech enterprise founded in 2013, focused on the research and development, manufacturing, marketing and technical service of high-end automotive electronics. The group employs more than 500 people, of whom 200+ work at the Shenzhen headquarters and 50+ are R&D engineers. Our portfolio covers three core lines — CarPlay / Android AI Boxes, Android car multimedia systems, and intelligent cockpit platforms — and our sales and service network reaches more than 30 countries and regions across Europe, South America, North America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Over the years we have built strategic partnerships with automotive brands including Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota, Chery and JAC, and we work across a platform ecosystem that includes Qualcomm, MediaTek, Intel, Samsung, NXP, ST, Rockchip and UIS.
Two Sites, One Quality System
ZESTECH runs on a simple division of labour. Our Shenzhen headquarters carries research and development, sales, marketing and technical service. Our own production base carries manufacturing, from SMT and assembly through to testing and packing — 50,000 m² of floor space, 7 production lines and modern equipment configured to international pre-assembly standards.
Both sides answer to the same quality system: IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, audited and maintained for automotive-grade production. That matters for a distributor, because it means the people who design the board and the people who run the line report into one organisation — not two companies separated by a purchase order.
Inside the Production Base: 7 Lines, 3 Million Units a Year

Capacity here is not an abstraction. With 7 production lines in a 50,000 m² facility, ZESTECH can produce 3 million units a year. Manufacturing is supported by comprehensive automation, and our intelligent manufacturing facilities use digital twins to keep process control tight and delivery predictable — the difference between “we can quote your order” and “we can ship your order on schedule”.
How a Unit Is Built: From SMT to Final Test
A car multimedia system or AI box follows the same disciplined route, whichever model it is:
- ✓Incoming and SMT — boards are populated and reflowed on the SMT line, with the SoC, memory, radio and audio silicon placed and inspected in-house.
- ✓Assembly and integration — display bonding, housing, connectors, harness and antenna assembly bring the electronics into a finished, vehicle-ready unit.
- ✓Software flashing and calibration — the Android platform, firmware, boot logo and region settings are flashed and verified before a unit leaves the line.
- ✓Aging and QC — finished units run through burn-in and functional testing, including radio, audio, display and connectivity checks across automotive-grade temperature ranges.
- ✓Final inspection and packing — units are checked against specification and packed for export, with OEM packaging available.

R&D Behind the Hardware: 125 Patents, 160 Software Copyrights
The reason a factory can keep a product line current is that it owns the engineering underneath it. ZESTECH holds 125 authorized patents and 160 software copyrights, with more than 50 engineers working across hardware and software. That R&D capacity shows up in three ways a buyer can feel:
- ✓Faster model coverage — new chipsets and new car platforms can be designed in without waiting on a third party.
- ✓Real OEM / ODM work — custom firmware and UI, custom boot logo, custom giftbox and logo printing, and specific product shell moulding are all handled in-house.
- ✓Firmware maintenance — as car makers push head-unit firmware updates, our engineers re-verify and update our own software.

ZESTECH is certified to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, and the product series carry CE, FCC, E-Mark, RoHS, CCC and NTRA approvals. Beyond the certificates, the company holds a set of qualifications that importers use as a sanity check on factory credibility: national high-tech enterprise; national-level specialized, refined, innovative small giant; governing unit of the China Automobile Manufacturers Association; Shenzhen Engineering Technology Research and Development Center; Guangdong Province Vehicle Intelligent Terminal System Engineering Technology Research Center; and Top 50 satellite navigation companies.
