IOKONE Taxi & Fleet Solutions: One Terminal for Pricing, Safety and Fleet Management

Product Features

One IOKONE T901 terminal brings taxi pricing, video safety, vehicle data and passenger signage together for connected, manageable fleets.

Product Introduction

Most fleets still run on three unrelated boxes — a taximeter on the dash, a separate camera, and a radio nobody upgraded. The result is messy wiring, reporting blind spots, and a cab the operator can barely see once it leaves the depot. A purpose-built fleet terminal changes that: it puts pricing, video safety, vehicle data and passenger signage on one device that reports back to a single platform.

What Exactly Is a Fleet Terminal?

The IOKONE T901 is a 7-inch LCD taximeter and intelligent vehicle terminal in one unit. Inside, it carries a dual GPS + Beidou positioning chip, built-in taxi pricing software, and a management layer that handles driver accounts, revenue reporting, operation-data reporting and driving-route history. In plain terms, it is the brain of the cab: it prices the trip, records what happens, and ships the data home.

Around that terminal we build a small ecosystem of in-vehicle hardware — cameras for vision safety, a CAN-BUS interface box that reads the car itself, a thermal printer for receipts, and a roof light that doubles as an advertising screen and a passenger indicator. None of it is optional decoration; each piece closes a gap an operator actually feels.

The Problems Fleet Operators Face

  • ✓Inaccurate or tampered fares — erode rider trust and invite complaints.

  • ✓Blind spots around the vehicle — put drivers at fault for accidents they could not see.

  • ✓Unnoticed fatigue and phone use — until something goes wrong.

  • ✓No visibility once a vehicle leaves — on location, revenue and route history.

  • ✓Separate devices — mean separate wiring, separate warranties and separate headaches.

Inside the T901: Hardware That Talks to the Car

A fleet terminal is only as good as the data it gathers. The T901 connects to the vehicle through a dedicated CAN-BUS interface box that transmits sensor data from the car straight to the terminal — speed, ignition, door status and more — without ripping apart the dashboard.

How the fleet terminal connects to the whole vehicle

Fig. One T901 terminal links the car, the cameras, the printer, the roof light and the cloud platform.

1T901 Terminal

7" LCD taximeter, GPS + Beidou, pricing & management software.

2AHD Camera

IP67, 180° wide angle, clear night vision, glue-filled.

3DMS AI Camera

Detects fatigue, distraction, phone use and smoking.

4ADAS Recorder

Forward collision & lane-departure warning, start-stop alert.

5CAN-BUS Box

Per-vehicle module that feeds sensor data to the terminal.

6Printer & Roof Light

Type-C Bluetooth printer (SDK) + ad-screen roof light.

Positioning, interfaces and integration

The terminal carries a GPS + Beidou dual chip for accurate tracking where one system weakens. Vehicle and peripheral links run over RS232 / RS485 and 4G, and the thermal printer exposes an SDK so the whole bundle can be integrated with your own dispatch or management platform.

Core Functions

1. Accurate Taxi Pricing

The T901 runs built-in taxi pricing software that an operator configures to local fare rules. Fares, distance, extras and time are captured on screen and reported, so the number the rider sees is the number the office records.

2. Video Safety

Real-time monitoring and recording run through the AHD and surveillance cameras. Reversing is safer, blind spots shrink, and any incident is on the record instead of a he-said-she-said.

3. Driver Behaviour Monitoring

The DMS camera watches the driver and raises alarms for fatigue, distraction, looking down, smoking, phone use, yawning and camera occlusion. That visibility alone changes behaviour — and lowers risk.

4. Vehicle Data and Receipt

The CAN-BUS box feeds live vehicle data to the terminal, while the Type-C Bluetooth thermal printer issues an on-the-spot fare receipt. A roof light with an integrated advertising screen and passenger indicator finishes the passenger-facing side.

CAN bus and in-vehicle function blocks

Fig. One terminal aggregates CAN, multimedia, 5G / 4G, BT and navigation functions across the vehicle.

Software, Safety and Compliance

  • ✓Dual GPS + Beidou positioning — keeps location accurate even where one system weakens.

  • ✓Real-time monitoring and remote capture — a control room can see a vehicle live.

  • ✓Driving-behaviour analysis — turns raw events into coachable reports.

  • ✓Route-history query — answers “where was car X at 2 p.m.?” in seconds.

  • ✓Edge AI (DMS + ADAS) — warnings fire on the device without waiting for the cloud.
